Jessica Enright currently works at the University of Glasgow. She holds a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, and previously held lectureships at the University of Stirling and at the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Security, University of Edinburgh. Her research is split between the applied and theoretical, with applied work in infectious disease modelling and agricultural systems, and theoretical work in algorithmic graph theory, parameterised algorithms and combinatorial games. She has held research funding from EPSRC, BBSRC, NordForsk and NIHR as principal or co-investigator.
Dr Enright joined the SSAC on 1 October 2026.
