Professor Peter Morgan is Director of the Aberdeen University Rowett Research Institute of Nutrition and Health, and a Director on the Board of Rowett Research Services.
As well as the Scottish Scientific Advisory Council he sits on a number of steering groups for the Scottish Government's Chief Scientist's Office. He is a member of the BBSRC DRINC Steering Committee, is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the DIfE (Human Nutrition Institute) in Potsdam, Germany, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the NuGO Foundation as well as the Governing Council for the EU Framework VI Nutrigenomics Centre of Excellence programme. His personal research interests are in molecular endocrinology relating to biological rhythms and energy homeostasis.
