Dr Whitelock has extensive experience in developing and delivering science based courses across a wide range of levels and subject disciplines in both the university and FE college sectors, more recently being instrumental in establishing the Scottish Colleges Biotechnology Consortium, which aims to provide technician training for the biotechnology industry. Dr Whitelock is actively involved in promoting school-college links to help inspire school pupils to study science and to provide CPD training courses for science teachers and technicians.
